Esther Lake speaks ...

I have always been a fan of science fiction and metaphysics, intrigued by the unknowable, drawn towards the complex landscape of our inner worlds. My first novel, Aspen Grove, was written in early 2017 with the goal of bringing lofty ideas of epistemology and metaphysics down into the mainstream. The result is that very complex ideas are distilled into simple words, so that clarity of thought is possible for anybody and everybody. The philosophical teachings are embodied within what I hope is an intriguing sci-fi/fantasy story, with compelling and engaging characters. I enjoyed the process so much that throughout 2017 I wrote three more novels, each dealing with different philosophical and spiritual matters. I am always mindful of creating intriguing and realistic characters, so that you can really lose yourself in their story.
